Q1: Can you tell us about the initial state of your Mustang’s driver seat?

A: It was in pretty rough shape. The bottom seat cover had tears and was generally worn out. I had taken it to an upholstery shop a couple of years ago for stitches and repairs, but it did not last long.

A: First, I contacted the dealership; they said the model was too old for original parts. Then I looked at junkyards, but the only parts I found were dirty or worn out. I ordered a seat cover on eBay, which was shipped from China. The seller claimed that the seat cover was OEM quality. But immediately when I opened the package, which was delivered after five weeks, I could see that it was of poor quality; not properly stitched and it felt very plasticy. There were no strips to attach to the foam with hog rings. I returned the seat cover and got my money back eventually. I had to pay for the customs clearance fee though.

Q3: How did you come across DSA Seat Factory?
